Secondary schools nationwide are now entering the final phase of the Active Travel Ambassador programme
Secondary schools nationwide are now entering the final phase of the Active Travel Ambassador (ATA) programme, which will see schools deliver active travel campaigns designed by the pupils themselves.
The Ambassadors have put months of hard work into the ATA programme and hope to see positive modal shift as a result of their behaviour change campaigns.
Each school has been awarded £250 to implement and promote their campaigns to the whole school community, with ideas ranging from weekly walking clubs, cycle activities and active travel competitions. The Ambassadors will measure the impact of their campaigns at the end of the programme – we can’t wait to see the results!
Follow the ATA’s as we catch up with the participating schools on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
