Central Park Business Park & Darlington Borough Council promote sustainable transport initiatives

Business Central, Darlington College and The Centre for Process Innovation all attained approved level travel plan accreditation through Modeshift STARS on August 31 2023. The range of occupiers all based upon the Central Park Business Park site in Darlington have worked in conjunction with Darlington Borough Council to develop and maintain a wide variety of transport measures and initiatives to promote sustainable transport to employees and students.

The STARS certificates were presented by Jordan Mayhew and Andrew Bean, Business Travel Advisors at Darlington Borough Council and Tom Murray, Modeshift STARS Programme Manager (Business).

While originally responding to a section 106 travel plan requirement to develop a site-specific travel plan each of the three occupiers will continue to work with Modeshift to further develop and expand their travel and transport offer for all employees and students based at Central Park.
